Kymco UXV passes Nitro Circus Tests with flying colours!


In mid- 2010 Nitro Circus brought a breathtaking live stunt show to Australia and the Kymco UXV 500 was the mount of choice for the crazy antics of the Nitro Circus team. Nitro Circus purchased a Kymco UXV 500 side by side for use within the show and the machine was tested beyond belief by the professional stuntmen and passed with flying colours!

Nitro Circus started as an American television series that featured Travis Pastrana and his friends travelling around the world riding dirtbikes, and performing death defying stunts. In 2010, the team decided to take their show on the road and this has impressed Australian crowds nationally and brought worldwide acclaim.

The likes of Travis Pastrana who has 14 X Games Medals and Blake Bilko Williams who is the current X games FMX Champion were part of this remarkable show. And of course, the Kymco UXV was a highlight in the line-up.

Kymco’s class leading suspension was put to the test, with the Nitro Circus team jumping the UXV 500 over 10 metres in the air. While this breath taking stunt is something that both Kymco and Nitro Circus insist should not be tried at home, it did prove Kymco’s superior engineering, reliability and stability. The wear and tear that the Nitro Circus team put on the Kymco did not slow down its performance one bit and the tough, sturdy machine performed each night without any trouble.

The Kymco UXV 500 is designed as a high powered utility made for farm work with 36 horsepower and enough torque to complete the roughest of work challenges.
The electronically activated differential lock provides maximum traction for the stickiest situations.

And there is no doubt the Nitro Circus team definitely put the UXV through its paces!

The UXV was also used for stunt practice on the television show Hey Hey It’s Saturday, where the much loved Plucka Duck went for a ride and a jump on the Kymco. Again, Kymco passed all the tests!
